South Carolina offers in-state quarterback committed to Wake Forest
Anderson (S.C.) Westside class of 2025 three-star quarterback Cutter Woods threw in front of Dowell Loggains and the South Carolina staff on Thursday and the Gamecocks must have liked what they saw.
South Carolina offered the Wake Forest commitment on Sunday, the 6-foot-2.5, 195-pound Woods announced on social media.

Woods committed to the Deamon Deacons in April, choosing them over offers from Auburn, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, and Georgia Tech, among others.
As a junior this past season, Woods completed 220 of 317 passes for 3,915 yards and 42 touchdowns with eight interceptions, according to MaxPreps. He added 345 yards and five touchdowns on the ground while leading Westside to a state title.
Woods also led his team to a 7-on-7 championship with the staff watching on Thurday.

Woods is the No. 609 overall prospect and No. 37 QB in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 13 prospect in South Carolina.

Williams-Brice Stadium and every South Carolina football practice field were buzzing Thursday as the Gamecocks once again had prospects on campus for the Shane Beamer Camp.
Thursday featured an OL/DL Camp at Williams-Brice Stadium as well as a team 7-on-7 camp that was dispersed throughout the South Carolina practice fields.
