South Carolina target Jayden Sellers happy to see older brother LaNorris stay home
Florence (S.C.) South Florence class of 2025 wide receiver Jayden Sellers got a front-row seat to his older brother’s recruitment and a spot at the table last Friday as LaNorris Sellers signed with South Carolina.
In the not-too-distant future, the younger Sellers will have his own decision to make.
“He looked kind of nervous with where to go and that made me nervous but I wanted him to stay home and that’s what he did,” Jayden Sellers told Gamecock Central minutes after his older brother flipped from Syracuse to South Carolina.

Sellers, who had a big sophomore season catching passes from his brother, says a couple of things stand out to him about the Carolina program.

“The fan base and the facilities,” he said. “They’ve really got nice facilities and nice fans. It’s loud, very loud and hostile.”
He also has liked getting to know the coaching staff so far.
“I like the wide receivers coach, Justin Stepp,” Sellers said. “His personality (stands out). He’s a funny guy and I feel like I can play with him. He says to get my weight up and I’ll be ready to play for them.”
