Lucas (Texas) Lovejoy four-star wide receiver Parker Livingstone named South Carolina in his top group last week and now the 6-foot-3, 176-pounder has locked in an official visit with the Gamecocks.

Livingstone Tweeted on Monday afternoon that he’ll officially visit South Carolina on June 2. Earlier in the day, he announced that he’ll take his official visit to Texas on June 23.

Those two schools plus Texas A&M, LSU, and Arkansas make up his top five.

Livingstone gave his thoughts on South Carolina with On3’s Sam Spiegelman a couple of months ago.

“I love (Shane) Beamer, I love (Dowell) Loggains and (Justin) Stepp. They’re all great people, they’re easy to talk to. For the most part, it’s not just about football. They know how to have fun and that’s something I like. They’re great people.”

He added: “We have a group chat with me, Stepp, Loggains and Beamer, and we text every day,” he noted. “They ask questions about football obviously, but also about my classes, how my parents and how my brothers are doing, and other stuff I’m interested in. It’s not always about football; they’re just people I can talk to.”

Livingstone is the No. 358 overall prospect and No. 58 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 60 player in Texas.

Livingstone, who is the younger brother of Texas Tech freshman pitcher Jack Livingstone, enters his senior season with 109 career receptions for 2,078 yards and 33 touchdowns. The younger Livingstone, who had over 900 yards receiving last season, is also a baseball standout.

South Carolina is off to a historic start to its 2024 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 5 in the country according to the On3 Team Rankings.

The latest commitment came from the Palmetto State’s top prospect in the On3 rankings, four-star offensive tackle Josiah Thompson, who committed on Friday.

South Carolina already has one receiver committed in Greenville (S.C.) four-star prospect Mazeo Bennett, who pledged a couple of months ago.
