South Carolina is riding a two-game win streak while the Tigers are winners of three straight with victories over Texas A&M, Mississippi State, and most recently Georgia.
The Gamecocks took care of Georgia last Saturday and beat Ole Miss on a James Reese buzzer-beater in overtime Tuesday.
“The emotions I felt were just crazy. I honestly was thinking about it right before we went into overtime,” Reese said after the game. “I’m thinking, ‘Somebody is going to have to make a big shot.’ First E made it and the next game to me. It’s surreal right now. I feel good.”
