The trip will run from Aug. 3 to Aug. 8 with South Carolina playing two games against European teams.
These trips are a way for teams to bond and get closer, and the Gamecocks have a ton of new faces on their roster this season.
They brought in four new transfers out of the portal and three incoming freshmen to a roster that includes returners like Jacobi Wright, Meechie Johnson, Josh Gray and others.
They landed Wofford’s BJ Mack, Vanderbilt’s Myles Stute, The Citadel’s Stephen Clark and Minnesota’s Ta’Lon Cooper.
Freshmen Collin-Murray Boyles, Arden Conyers and Morris Ugusuk will also be part of next year’s team.

“I’m really excited about our trip to the Bahamas,” said head coach Lamont Paris. “By NCAA rules, you’re afforded 10 full practices in preparation. The benefits from those practices are tremendous. Beyond that, the team bonding that takes place in this type of environment is immeasurable. From traveling and enjoying time with your new teammates to the competition aspect to the interaction between players and coaches in a completely different setting – it’s fantastic. We are very fortunate to take advantage of this opportunity and grateful that our institution supports us in providing these types of experiences for our student-athletes.”
The team will stay at Atlantis Resort and play its games on-site.
