Later today, South Carolina will begin their run in the NCAA Tournament. It’ll mark the 35 time in program history that the Gamecocks are playing in the NCAA Tournament as they look to make it back to Omaha for the first time since 2012.

While their path of making it back to the College World Series having to start on the road, Vegas is giving South Carolina the same odds to win the whole tournament as they are for NC State, who is hosting USC in the Raleigh Regional. Those odds, according to BetOnline, are at 40/1. That’s tied for the 16th best odds for any team in this year’s tournament. It’s also tied for the ninth best odds for any SEC Team.
