South Carolina QB LaNorris Sellers signs NIL deal with Garnet Trust
South Carolina will officially be returning one of its most promising prospects after LaNorris Sellers signed a name, image, and likeness (NIL) deal with Garnet Trust.
Garnet Trust, the official NIL collective of University of South Carolina athletics, made the announcement via X, formerly known as Twitter, on Saturday.
The South Florence (South Carolina) native signed with South Carolina as part of its 2023 recruiting class. Though his on-field contributions were limited this past season, he showed flashes of promise that could make him a star in the years to come.
Sellers appeared in three games during his debut campaign. In the Gamecocks’ 47-21 win over Furman, he completed all four of his pass attempts for 86 yards and two touchdowns. He added a combined 51 yards and one touchdown on five rushing attempts against Vanderbilt and Kentucky.
