South Carolina softball revealed its fall schedule, which includes four games against opponents before playing the Garnet and Black World Series. Here’s a full breakdown of what the slate entails.

Softball Announces 2024 Fall Schedule
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Head softball coach Ashley Chastain announced the team’s fall schedule today (Sept. 5). Carolina will play four games against opponents before the schedule concludes with their fall World Series. The team will also host six intersquad scrimmages. All fall home games at Carolina Softball Stadium are free and open to the public.
The schedule opens September 22 at home against Wofford at noon. The Terriers are coming off their first season as a program with former Gamecock graduate manager Kara Shutt on staff.
South Carolina hosts former Gamecock great Codee Yeske and her USC Beaufort squad Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. After a week off, USC Aiken visits Beckham Field Oct. 12 for a 2 p.m. first pitch.

Outside competition concludes with the lone road game of the fall, when the Gamecocks travel to the College of Charleston Oct. 20 a 3 p.m. game.
The fall season wraps up with the Garnet and Black World Series which is scheduled for Oct. 28 at 3 p.m.
The intersquad scrimmages are as follows:

Sept. 27 – 1:15 p.m.
Oct. 6 – noon
Oct. 10 – 9:45 a.m.
Oct. 16 – 2:45 p.m.
