Aliyah Boston tied Sheila Foster for the South Carolina school record with her 72nd career double-double.
Boston reached a double-double midway through the third quarter against Vanderbilt. She finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds in just 22 minutes.
That gave Boston her 12th double-double of the season and tied the record. Boston set the school record for double-doubles in a season last year when she had 30. She also had 27 consecutive double-doubles, setting an SEC record and the fifth-longest streak in NCAA history.

Boston has moved into a tie for 16th in NCAA history for career double-doubles.
Boston had 17 double-doubles as a sophomore, and 13 as a freshman. She is averaging a double-double for her career, at 14.2 points and 10.9 rebounds.
Boston set the single-season rebounding record last season, with 462 rebounds. She is second in career rebounds behind Foster. Foster had 1,427 in 134 games. Boston entered the Vanderbilt game with 1,299 career rebounds in 119 games. At her current rate, Boston could pass Foster by the end of the season.
Boston also has two triple-doubles. She is the only Gamecock, male or female, with multiple triple-doubles.
