On Tuesday, I opened the floor to questions on The Insiders Forum. Here’s a sample of what was discussed.

Michael Beckham: Is there any truth to the tweets concerning MiLaysia Fulwiley, her mother, and Dawn Staley?
I don’t know how to answer this without adding to the mudslinging and pouring gasoline on the fire. I like MiLaysia and have always had a good relationship with her. I’ll say that I don’t think she’s getting good advice and leave it at that.
Abush: If we don’t land Gianna Kneepkens, are we done in the portal, or will Staley look for a Plan B?
The guard rotation is pretty thin, so I think they have to try to add one more player. If that player isn’t Kneepkens, I think Plan B is to pivot towards a lower-profile player who can comfortably slide into a reserve role. A single instead of a home run, if you like.
TNCock: What about a bloop double?
Isn’t that what Kierra Fletcher was?
ecarch08: What’s going on with Kylee Kitts? Is she still a take?
I don’t think Kylee is interested in South Carolina or South Carolina is interested in Kylee right now. That could change as things drag on because South Carolina probably needs to add one more player, but she’s not plan A.

Garnet92: Can you tell Staley we need another pure three-point shooter?
I don’t think she is interested in my advice. But don’t sleep on Ayla McDowell. She has been shooting really well from three in the all-star games.
vacock: Is there a scholarship chart with each player and how many seasons left?
Right HERE
WDC4USC: In the past, didn’t Fred Chmiel work with the post players? Who does that now?
Yes, Chmiel worked with the bigs. Wendale Farrow’s specialty is guards, like Winston Gandy, but both also worked with bigs. Farrow is 6-7. That should help him practice against the bigs. I’m not sure exactly how Staley will divvy up responsibilities with the new staff, but I don’t think it’s by position group.
druwder: Should we be worried about Agot Makeer not signing yet?
It’s a little weird, but I’m not worried yet. Last week, Agot was in Portland for the Nike Hoop Summit and then in Washington, DC for the Jordan Brand Classic. It’s entirely possible that she hasn’t had time, especially if she wants to have a ceremony at school with friends and family.
