South Carolina women's basketball star now OUT ahead of top-10 matchup
South Carolina women’s basketball starting forward Chloe Kitts will not play against NC State on Sunday. The top-10 showdown between the Gamecocks and Wolfpack will be missing one of the game’s brightest stars due to an “academic policy issue.” The team made the announcement just minutes before the start of the Ally Tip-Off in Charlotte.

Updated: After the game, Dawn Staley addressed the situation. She confirmed that it was a minor issue and Kitts will be back for Thursday’s game.
“It’s one game,” Staley said.
