South Carolina arrived in Cleveland on Tuesday. The Gamecocks were greeted with a photo shoot and gift suite.
On Wednesday at 3:30, the Werner Ladder Naismith College Coach of the Year will be announced. Dawn Staley is one of four finalists for the award, which she has won three of the past four seasons. The other finalists are Lisa Bluder (Iowa), Lindsey Gottleib (Southern Cal), and Tara VanDerveer (Stanford).
On Thursday, April 4, South Carolina practices at 9:00 am EDT. The first 15 minutes of practice are open to the media.
South Carolina’s media session begins at 12:15 with radio interviews. The main portion begins at 12:45 with athletes and then Staley at 1:00. Open locker room availability runs from 1:00 to 1:30.

NC State’s availability window runs from 2:30 to 3:20.
Thursday afternoon ends with two award presentations. The AP Player and Coach of the Year will be presented at 4:45 EDT. The WBCA Coach and Player of the Year awards presentation will follow at 5:25.
South Carolina plays NC State on Friday, April 5, at 7:00 EDT. There should be a team sendoff at the team hotel, but the time for that has not been announced yet.
If South Carolina advances, the Gamecocks will have media availability on Saturday, April 6 at 10:45 am. It lasts until 11:55. There is an open practice from 2:00 until 2:50 EDT that is open to the public. Doors open for practice at 1:30 pm.
The national championship game is on Sunday, April 7, at 3:00 pm.
