The WNBA season ended Sunday night with an overtime Game 5 in the WNBA Finals. GamecockCentral recaps how all the former Gamecocks did this season and what their offseason plans are.

Atlanta Dream (15-25)
Laeticia Amihere (17 games, 4.9 minutes, 1.1 pts, 1.6 rebs)
Amihere did not make the progress Atlanta was probably hoping for this season. Of course, the Dream was arguably the most disappointing team in the league, and coach Tanisha Wright was fired following the season. It remains to be seen what direction the franchise takes.

Offseason:
Amihere will play in Australia during the offseason.

Allisha Gray (40 games (40 starts), 33.2 mpg, 15.6 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 2.7 apg, 1.1 spg)
Gray was one of the only consistent bright spots for Atlanta. She is one of the franchise cornerstones unless the Dream decides to trade her for younger prospects.

Offseason:
Gray will play in the new Unrivaled league beginning in January.

Chicago Sky (13-27)
Kamilla Cardoso (32 games (29 starts), 27.4 mpg, 9.8 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 1.7 apg, 1.4 bpg)
Cardoso missed the beginning and end of the season with a shoulder injury but was still named to the All-Rookie team. She and Angel Reese combined for a formidable frontcourt. The Sky fired coach Teresa Weatherspoon after the season, creating uncertainty for the franchise.

Offseason:
Cardoso is playing in China.

Connecticut Sun (28-12)
Ty Harris (39 games (38 starts), 28.8 mpg, 10.5 ppg, 3.0 apg, 1.8 rpg, 1.0 spg)
Harris completed her transformation from a pass-first point guard to a clutch shooter this season. She is one of only three Connecticut players under contract for next season so she would appear to be a cornerstone for whatever the Sun decides to do.

Offseason:
Harris will play in China during the offseason.

Tiffany Mitchell (24 games, 16.3 mpg, 4.9 ppg, 1.5 RPG)
Mitchell did not play after the Olympic break after developing sepsis as a result of six abscesses in her stomach. She is a free agent next season.

Offseason:
It doesn’t look like Mitchell will try to play overseas.

Indiana Fever (20-20)
Aliyah Boston (40 games (40 starts), 30.9 mpg, 14.0 ppg, 8.9 rpg, 3.2 apg, 1.2 bpg)
Boston followed up her Rookie of the Year campaign with an even better second season. Indiana is still figuring out all of its pieces, but the future is bright.

Offseason:
Boston does not appear to be playing overseason.

Victaria Saxton (9 games, 2.5 mpg, 0.9 ppg, 0.3 RPG)
Saxton barely played this season. She is under contract next season but one can’t help but wonder if Indiana will retain her.

Offseason:
Saxton played in Belgium last offseason but does not appear to be playing overseas this year.

Las Vegas Aces (27-13)
A’ja Wilson (38 games (38 starts), 34.4 mpg, 26.9 ppg, 11.9 rpg, 2.3 apg, 2.6 bpg, 1.8 spg)
Wilson had one of the greatest seasons in WNBA history and was the unanimous choice for MVP. The Aces seemed to run out of gas by the end of the season and they face a pivotal offseason where they will try to retool around Wilson.

Offseason:
Wilson will not play overseas.

Los Angeles Sparks (8-32)
Zia Cooke (29 games, 8.9 mpg, 3.6 ppg, 0.6 rpg, 0.6 apg)
Cooke had a promising rookie season but a hugely disappointing sophomore campaign. After the season Los Angeles parted ways with coach Curt Miller, one of the most respected coaches in the league. Nobody seems to have any idea what direction the Sparks intend to go next season.

Offseason:
Cooke is playing in Australia this offseason.

Phoenix Mercury (19-21)
Mikiah Herbert Harrigan (31 games (3 starts), 10.8 mpg, 3.2 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 0.4 bpg, 0.5 spg)
Herbert Harrigan returned to the WNBA and became a productive reserve for Phoenix, who valued her three-point shooting. Herbert Harrigan is a reserved free agent next season.

Offseason:
Herbert Harrigan is playing in Spain.

Others
Brea Beal
Las Vegas cut Beal early in training camp.

Alaina Coates (Preseason stats with Seattle: 2 games, 8.0 minutes, 3.0 pts, 1.0 reb, 1.0 block)
Coates got a shot with Seattle in the preseason but didn’t stick. It was a little surprising that nobody picked her up later in the season.

Kaela Davis (4 games, 13.0 mpg, 3.0 ppg, 1.0 RPG)
Davis went to camp with Seattle but was cut before the season. She got a late call from Chicago, where she spent the final two weeks of the season. Davis showed she still has something left after an Achilles injury and will hopefully get another invite next season.

Destanni Henderson (6 games, 17.5 mpg, 4.0 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 2.5 apg)
Henderson joined Atlanta for training camp but was cut before the season. The injury-depleted Dream brought her back for a productive two-week stint. She was released when the injured players returned. Henderson is playing in Turkey this offseason.

LeLe Grissett is playing in France.

Destiny Littleton is playing in China.
