Las Vegas Aces (25-13)
A’ja Wilson (37 games (37 starts), 34.4 mpg, 27.0 ppg, 12.0 rpg, 2.3 apg, 2.6 bpg, 1.8 spg)
Wilson entered the week 10 points away from tying the WNBA single-season scoring record. It took her six minutes to tie it, and she broke the record before halftime. Wilson needed 29 points against Connecticut to become the first player to score 1,000 points in a season. She hit a pull-up jumper with 1:57 left to reach the milestone. Now, Wilson needs just three rebounds to set the single-season rebounding record. With Las Vegas just one game ahead of Seattle for the fourth seed and home-court advantage, the Aces will have to play to win both games this week.

(Side note: The WNBA expanded the season from 35 to 40 games, but Wilson passed Diana Taurasi’s 35-game record in 34 games and will also own the scoring average record. Angel Reese holds the current single-season rebounding record, set this year, that Wilson will break. Wilson and Reese will both break the rebounding average record, but Wilson will finish behind Reese.)

Cooke had a nice game against the Sun, but didn’t get a chance to build on it.

Mikiah Herbert Harrigan (29 games (3 starts), 10.4 mpg, 2.7 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 0.4 bpg, 0.5 spg)
Phoenix is locked into the seventh seed, so the Mercury may rest some veterans ahead of the playoffs. That could mean more playing time for Herbert Harrigan.
