Laeticia Amihere is back in the W, and Aliyah Boston looks outstanding when the Fever remembers her. Get caught up in this week’s Gamecocks in the WNBA.

Atlanta Dream (5-3)
Allisha Gray
8 games (8 starts), 35.6 mpg, 20.1 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 4.5 apg, 1.0 spg, 42.9 3P%
Atlanta hasn’t shaken last season’s frustrating habit of losing games it shouldn’t. Gray was quiet in the loss at Connecticut, but she still filled up the box score.

Last week:
at Connecticut (84-76 loss): 38 minutes*, 11 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals

Te-Hina Paopao
7 games (4 starts), 14.4 mpg, 4.6 ppg, 1.9 apg, 1.7 rpg, 38.5 3P%
Paopao began the season as a starter but lost her job following an eye injury. She has been productive in very limited minutes, which raises questions about the rotation.

Last week:
at Connecticut (84-76 loss): 7 minutes, 2 points, 3 assists, 0-0 3PT

Upcoming games:
Tuesday, June 10 vs Indiana (7:30 ET, ESPN3/League Pass)
Friday, June 13 vs Chicago (7:30 ET, Ion/League Pass)
Sunday, June 15 at Washington (2:00 ET, CBS Sports Network)

Chicago Sky (2-5)
Kamilla Cardoso
7 games (7 starts), 21.8 mpg, 10.9 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 1.6 apg, 0.7 bpg
Cardoso’s career-high last week feels like an eternity ago. Chicago is struggling to get her involved, and the problem got even worse with the news that point guard Courtney Vandersloot tore her ACL against Indiana. The Sky is a mess, and it could get worse.

Last week:
vs Indiana (79-52 loss): 21 minutes*, 8 points, 4 rebounds

Upcoming games:
Tuesday, June 10 at New York (8:00 ET, ESPN)
Friday, June 13 at Atlanta (7:30 ET, Ion/League Pass)
Sunday, June 15 at Connecticut (12:00 ET, CBS)

Dallas Wings (1-9)
Tyasha Harris
5 games, 16.5 mpg, 4.6 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 2.6 apg, 45.5 3P%
Harris injured her knee against Connecticut and has not played since then. It is not believed to be a long-term injury, but it has now cost her two weeks and counting.

Last week:
at Seattle (83-77 loss): DNP-Knee
vs Los Angeles (93-79 loss): DNP-Knee
vs Minnesota (81065 loss): DNP-Knee

Upcoming games:
Wednesday, June 11 at Phoenix (10:00 ET, League Pass)
Friday, June 13 at Las Vegas (10:00 ET, Ion/League Pass)

Golden State Valkyries (3-5)
Laeticia Amihere
Preseason stats: 2 games, 17.4 mpg, 12.5 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 1.0 apg, 1.0 spg, 60.0 FG%
Amihere was Golden State’s leading scorer in the preseason, so it was unexpected when she was cut before the season. Now she is back with the surprising Valkyries on a rest-of-season contract. Golden State made a flurry of moves on Sunday: little-used center Kyara Linskens was waived, Amihere was signed, and forward Cecilia Zandalasini was moved to the suspended list while she plays for Italy at EuroBasket. Amihere will be available for Monday’s game at Los Angeles.

Upcoming games:
Monday, June 9 at Los Angeles (10:00 ET, League Pass)
Saturday, June 14 vs Seattle (8:30 ET, League Pass)

Indiana Fever (4-4)
Aliyah Boston
8 games (8 starts), 29.2 mpg, 15.3 ppg, 7.6 rpg, 3.8 apg, 1.6 bpg, 66.7 FG%
Boston has made a tremendous leap in her third season, reminiscent of her junior year at South Carolina. Unfortunately, Indiana often forgets about her – she averaged 6.5 shot attempts last week. It didn’t matter against the struggling Mystics and SKy, but it’s frustrating to watch. Boston leads the WNBA in shooting percentage, and her current mark of 66.7% would be third all-time (the single season record is 68.2% by Ruthy Hebard in 2020).

Last week:
vs Washington (85-76 win): 29 minutes*, 10 points, 4 assists, rebound, block, 5-5 FG
at Chicago (79-52 win): 27 minutes*, 11 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, block

Upcoming games:
Tuesday, June 10 at Atlanta (7:30 ET, ESPN3/League Pass)
Saturday, June 14 vs New York (3:00 ET, ABC)

Las Vegas Aces (4-3)
Tiffany Mitchell
7 games, 13.7 mpg, 3.3 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 0.9 apg
Mitchell got to play 17 minutes in Las Vegas’ embarrassing blowout loss at Golden State.

Last week:
at Golden State (95-68 loss): 17 minutes, 5 points, rebound, assist, steal

A’ja Wilson
7 games (7 starts), 32.6 mpg, 22.0 ppg, 9.9 rpg, 3.9 apg, 2.4 bpg, 2.0 spg
A’ja is still A’ja, but her supporting cast has been inconsistent. That makes her job harder, as it did last week. It will be interesting to see how the season progresses for the Aces.

Last week:
at Golden State (95-68 loss): 27 minutes*, 17 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, block

Upcoming games:
Wednesday, June 11 vs Los Angeles (10:00 ET, CBS Sports Network)
Friday, June 13 vs Dallas (10:00 ET, Ion/League Pass)
Sunday, June 15 vs Phoenix (6:00 ET, League Pass)

Los Angeles Sparks (3-6)
Sania Feagin
2 games, 1.9 mpg
Feagin made her second career appearance last week. She has yet to score, but we’re still a few games away from the same basket-watch from Victaria Saxton’s rookie season.

Last week:
at Dallas (93-79 win): 3 minutes, turnover, foul

Upcoming games:
Monday, June 9 vs Golden State (10:00 ET, League Pass)
Wednesday, June 11 at Las Vegas (10:00 ET, CBS Sports Network)
Saturday, June 14 at Minnesota (1:00 ET, CBS)

Seattle Storm (5-4)
Zia Cooke
8 games, 11.6 mpg, 3.8 ppg, 0.8 rpg, 0.6 apg
Cooke and Seattle are a surprise with the fifth-best record in the league, and the Storm appear to be trending up. It’s a nice bounce-back for Cooke.

Last week:
vs Dallas (83-77 win): 15 minutes, 7 points, assist, steal
at Phoenix (89-77 win): 11 minutes, 2 points

Upcoming games:
Wednesday, June 11 vs Minnesota (10:00 ET, League Pass)
Saturday, June 14 at Golden State (8:30 ET, League Pass)
