Class of 2025 Top-five guard Divine Bourrage announced her six finalists on Friday, a list that includes South Carolina.
Bourrage is a 5-11 guard from Davenport Iowa. She is ranked fifth in the country by HoopGurlz. Her six finalists are South Carolina, LSU, Virginia Tech, Illinois, Baylor, and Arizona.
Bourrage picked up an offer from South Carolina in February 2024. She averaged 19.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 3.0 steals last season and was named the Gatorade State Player of the Year. Bourrage is a high-level shooter who can get downhill to the rim. She is also a strong passer and some publications list her as a combo guard.
Bourrage was not offered by traditional power programs until later in the process, which may by why there are some surprising schools in her top six.

Bourrage’s teammate Journey Houston has already committed to Iowa, but Bourrage never developed a strong relationship with the Hawkeyes (some of her social media posts are downright hostile towards Iowa).
Bourrage reportedly has visits scheduled for Arizona and LSU. She also reportedly scheduled a visit for Cal, but presumably, she won’t be taking that visit. She has said she will schedule visits to her other finalists in the fall.
Earlier this week South Carolina also made the top six for seventh-ranked 2025 guard ZaKiyah Johnson.
