South Carolina is one of three finalists for coveted transfer Aneesah Morrow. Morrow made the announcement on social media.
A rising junior, Morrow has two seasons of eligibility remaining. The 6-1 forward from Chicago stayed home for the first two years of her career, playing at DePaul.
Morrow was one of the most productive players in the country during her first two seasons. In her first season, she was named national freshman of the year and second-team All-American. Morrow battled Aliyah Boston all season for the double-double crown and averaged 21.9 points and 13.9 rebounds.

Last season, Morrow averaged 25.7 points and 12.2 rebounds. She improved her shooting range and passing, but DePaul failed to make the NCAA Tournament. Morrow was once again named a second-team All-American.

Morrow will immediately impact whichever program she chooses, and she is one of the most talented players in the portal this season.
If Morrow chooses South Carolina, she gives the Gamecocks a major scoring threat on a team that lost 64% of its scoring from last season. She also adds depth to a group of forwards (Sania Feagin and Ashlyn Watkins) that has lots of potential but limited experience.
