Oliviyah Edwards, a 2026 top-ten prospect, announced her top ten on Saturday and South Carolina made the list.

Edwards’ top ten also included Duke, LSU, Florida State, Notre Dame, Southern Cal, North Carolina, Tennessee, Washington, and Florida. South Carolina offered Edwards in July 2023.

Edwards is an incredibly athletic 6-3 forward from Tacoma, Washington. She first dunked in a game as a seventh-grader at age 13. With her size and athleticism, Edwards excels around the rim, but she also is a heady player who has a good three-point shot.

She looks like the prototype for the modern positionless players. ESPN ranked her as one of the players in 2026 with the most upside, saying her potential is “essentially limitless.”

Edwards has a similar player profile to current Gamecock Ashlyn Watkins, and she could be the player to replace Watkins when she graduates.
