South Carolina women’s basketball dominated Texas A&M on Thursday night. Winning by a final score of 90-49, the Gamecocks moved to 15-1 and 3-0 in SEC play.

During the game, though, MiLaysia Fulwiley did what MiLaysia Fulwiley does. The star sophomore stuffed the stat sheet with 17 points, six rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and two steals. She also delivered one highlight reel play on a fastbreak that earned her a spot on SportsCenter’s top 10.

In the 4th quarter, Fulwiley picked up a steal, saved the ball from going out of bounds, and then raced down the court. The one-player fastbreak culminated with Fulwiley’s patented behind-the-back layup finish. However, this one came with some added difficulty as she faded away from a rim defender and took a foul before converting the transition opportunity.

The game already was out of hand, but the play got the USC fans in Colonial Life Arena on their feet. For her efforts, Fulwiley earned the No. 8 spot on Friday’s SportsCenter top 10.

On the season, No. 12 has season averages around 11 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block. Those numbers are comparable to Fulwiley’s totals from last year despite the fact she hasn’t played her best basketball with consistency. Once she reaches that level consistently, she will move from being one of the country’s most exciting players to one of the country’s best players.

Fulwiley and the Gamecocks will take the floor again on Sunday. The highly anticipated matchup between No. 2 South Carolina and No. 5 Texas will tip at 1:00 p.m. ESPN will broadcast the game, and the ESPN app will make it available for streaming.
