South Carolina women's basketball NCAA selection event details announced

The University of South Carolina distributed details for a free NCAA Selection Show watch event, where fans of Dawn Staley’s Gamecocks program can find out who the team is playing in round one.

COLUMBIA, S.C. –South Carolina women’s basketball invites fans to watch the 2024 NCAA Tournament Selection Show with them at Colonial Life Arena on Sun., March 17. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. with an hour for fans to interact with the team at activations on the concourse before the Selection Show begins at 8 p.m. Admission to the event is free with general admission seating in Sections 104-106.

Upon entering the arena, fans can pick up an autographed poster and t-shirt in the McGuire Club then proceed to several stations around the concourse for the activations with members of the team. After completing the circuit, fans can find a seat in Sections 104-106 to watch the Selection Show on the videoboard. Following the announcement of the Gamecocks’ bracket, head coach Dawn Staley will wrap up the event with a brief talk to the crowd.

Parking will be available for free on a first-come, first-served basis in Lots A and B in front of Colonial Life Arena.

Ticket booklets for the NCAA Tournament first and second round games played at Colonial Life Arena are on sale now to the general public at: https://am.ticketmaster.com/gamecocks/virtual-venue/V0IyNEFTQg==. Single-session tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Mon., Mar. 18, via Ticketmaster.com.

After winning the 2024 SEC Tournament, the Gamecocks are guaranteed their 13th NCAA Tournament bid in as many seasons.
