South Carolina women's basketball: Nike unveils A'ja Wilson's signature shoe
After two years of design and nearly a year of speculation, Nike has officially unveiled A’ja Wilson’s highly anticipated Nike A’One signature shoe.
Wilson teased the announcement on Monday with a video posted on social media. In the video she is seen opening a shoe box and reacting to what she saw, keeping the shoes carefully hidden from the camera.
Tuesday morning, Nike revealed the shoes to everyone else.
The shoe is made of different shades of pink, Wilson’s favorite color, and it has multiple elements that reflect Wilson’s life.
Naturally, there is Wilson’s signature logo. There are also nods to her parents, her trademark pearls, quotes from Wilson and her grandmother, and, of course, Wilson’s signature.

The shoe goes on sale in May 2025.
The shoe is the first part of an entire signature line that includes clothes and slides, which will be released later.

Wilson’s signature shoe was first announced on May 11, 2024, in connection to the Las Vegas Aces’ exhibition game at Colonial Life Arena. Wilson wore a shirt that read “Of Course I Have A Shoe Dot Com,” a reference to those questioning why, despite all her accomplishments, Wilson didn’t have her own shoe.
The address led to a website with information about the upcoming release, but there was no information about the shoe itself. Now that address redirects to Wilson’s signature athlete page, complete with the new shoe.
Naturally, Dawn Staley, who once had her own Nike shoe, was one of the first people to receive a pair.
