Finalists:
Carlton announced a top 20 in August 2022. South Carolina made her top 20, along with all of the other usual suspects. She narrowed her list to five in May, 2023: South Carolina, LSU, Arizona, UConn, and Texas.
Projection:
Getting Carlton out of Texas is going to be a challenge. Carlton rose from 21st to third in the October 2022 HoopGurlz rankings after leading her team to the EYBL championship over the summer. She’s settled in top six since then, and is one of the best scorers in the class.
