South Carolina women’s basketball dominated their second straight game without star center Kamilla Cardoso, jumping out to the early lead and never looking back for a 103-55 win at Kentucky on Sunday afternoon.
South Carolina fared just fine without their primary post presence. Defensively they were stellar. The team finished with 10 blocks, two from the guards, and 11 steals.
The Gamecocks finished with 52 points in the paint. 32 points came off of turnovers.

Milaysia Fulwiley was the spark the team needed off the bench in the first quarter. She had 11 points on 2-4 shooting. She finished the game with 17 points and was 12-12 from the free-throw line.

At halftime, the Gamecocks were shooting 54 percent from the floor and 50 percent from three-point land and led 42-22.
