South Carolina women's basketball: Sania Feagin to be the subject of new documentary

Former Gamecock Sania Feagin will be featured in a documentary scheduled to be released in September.
The documentary is titled “Fastest Six Weeks in Sports” and covers the six weeks between the end of the NCAA Tournament and the beginning of the WNBA season. It follows Feagin, Georgia Amoore, and Kelsey Plum.
Amoore, like Feagin, is a rookie transitioning from the end of her career at Kentucky to the beginning of her professional career (spoiler: Amoore suffered a season-ending knee injury before the season began). Plum, a nine-year veteran, is in her first season with the Los Angeles Sparks, where she and Feagin are teammates.
The documentary is presented by Religion of Sports, Ensemble, and Deep Blue Sports + Entertainment.
According to AdWeek, Lauren Fisher, vice president and creative director at Religion of Sports, made the announcement on Monday at the Cannes Lions Festival. Fisher is one of the directors of “In the Arena: Serena Williams.”

“This six-week window represents everything that makes women’s sports so compelling – raw talent, authentic storytelling, and moments that transcend sport,” said Fisher. “Alongside some incredible partners, we’re proud to spotlight these athletes during such a pivotal time in their careers.”
“Can’t wait, so excited,” Feagin said on social media.
The project secured sponsorship from DoorDash and Uncrustables this week. The sponsorship allows the producers to finish the product and release it in September. It will stream on Roku and YouTube.
