Legacy
Saxton has been a captain and ever-present source of veteran leadership for some of the most successful seasons in program history. The veteran forward ranks in the top 10 in program history in career blocks, career blocks in SEC games and career offensive rebounds.
Saxton’s unselfishness is evident in her decision to play out her eligibility with South Carolina. She has retained her starting role but is playing nearly five minutes less per game, a fact which has had little effect on her effort and consistently.
Beyond the statistics, Saxton will be remembered by Gamecock fans for her relentless pursuit of every rebound and every win.
