South Carolina women's basketball: Two former Gamecocks join professional 3X3 league

Two former Gamecocks have joined the 3XBA, a professional 3X3 league. Destanni Henderson and Bree Hall will play in a tournament in Spokane from June 25-28.
The 3X3 Basketball Association is “the first and only professional women’s FIBA 3X3 league and development program in the United States.”
Hall was selected 20th overall in the 2025 WNBA Draft by Indiana. She was waived after Indiana’s second preseason game.
Henderson was also selected 20th overall by Indiana, back in the 2022 WNBA Draft. She was waived before the 2023 season and has played for Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Atlanta. Henderson played in Turkey last offseason and was not invited to any WNBA camp this summer.
The complete list of athletes participating, teams, and the schedule have not been finalized.
The winning team will earn a bid to the FIBA 3X3 Women’s series in Edmonton in August.
