South Carolina has known since March which teams it would be playing in 2025. But now, the Gamecocks know when they’ll be playing the 12 teams on next season’s schedule.

The Southeastern Conference announced schedules for all 16 teams, including South Carolina, during a two-hour special on SEC Network on Wednesday. The Gamecocks will once again play four non-conference games and eight SEC games in what will be head coach Shane Beamer’s fifth season at the helm.

Next season’s SEC schedule will mirror the 2024 format with the home/away designations for each matchup flipping.

The 2025 campaign will start neither at home or on the road. Instead, South Carolina will be playing in Atlanta, Georgia at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the Atlanta Falcons. The Gamecocks will face Virginia Tech, Beamer’s alma mater, in the Aflac Kickoff Game, which will be played on Sunday, Aug. 31.

South Carolina will return to Williams-Brice Stadium to take on SC State in its home opener and then have its SEC opener against Vanderbilt the following week. The team will head on the road and play at Missouri on Sept. 20 before closing out the month with a home date with the Kentucky Wildcats.

The Gamecocks will head into their first of two bye weeks, starting with the first one during the week of Oct. 4. After some time off, they’ll be on the road to take on the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge on Oct. 11. They’ll come back to Columbia for a two-game home stand to close out October against Oklahoma and Alabama.

Kicking off the final month of the regular season, South Carolina will be in Oxford, MS on Nov. 1 to play the Ole Miss Rebels. The last time it made the trip to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium was in 2020, which happened to be the final game of the Will Muschamp era before Beamer was hired a few weeks later.

After the second bye week, the Gamecocks will be back on the road, this time going to play at Texas A&M. They’ll be looking to defend the Bonham Trophy after winning it back from the Aggies in 2024.

If South Carolina is in contention late in the season, the SEC Championship game will be played in Atlanta on Dec. 6.
