South Carolina's Citrus Bowl week schedule released

South Carolina is set to embark on a six-day trip to Orlando, Florida to play Illinois in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Eve.

The Gamecocks will head down to the Sunshine State on Thursday, the day after Christmas, and return to Columbia on New Year’s Day.

South Carolina released its full practice and media availability schedule. Here’s what the team’s schedule looks like for the week in Orlando.

Thursday, Dec. 26

— Team arrives in Orlando and will have a team workout at Celebration High School (No media availability)

Friday, Dec. 27

— Practice at Celebration High School from 11:55 am – 1:55 pm (First 15 minutes of practice open to media)

— Shane Beamer and defensive players media availability after practice ends

Saturday, Dec. 28

— Player/coordinator press conference (players speaking: Vershon Lee and Boogie Huntley) from 9 – 9:30 am
