South Carolina knows its details on when and at what time it’ll play Florida in a Super Regional.

The NCAA announced Super Regional start times Tuesday morning with South Carolina getting the Friday-Sunday Super Regional.

Game 1 will kick off Friday at 6 p.m. on ESPN2 with Game 2 Saturday at 3 p.m. on ESPN2. Game 3, if necessary, will be Sunday at a time to be announced.

That side of the bracket is paired with the No. 7 Virginia/Duke, Oregon/Oral Roberts and No. 14 Indiana State/TCU Super Regionals in the College World Series.

This is both team’s first Super Regional since 2018 with the winner of this series off to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. Florida last made the College World Series in 2018, finishing in the CWS Semifinals.

The Gamecocks haven’t been back to Omaha since a run of three-straight appearances from 2010 to 2012. South Carolina obviously won two titles in 2010 and 2011 and finished as national runners-up to Arizona.

The No. 1 Wake Forest/No. 16 Alabama, No. 8 Stanford/Texas, No. 5 LSU/No. 12 Kentucky and Tennessee/Southern Miss Supers are on the other side of the bracket.

South Carolina is coming off a dominating sweep of the Columbia regional. The Gamecocks took care of Central Connecticut, NC State and Campbell relatively easily.

They outscored opponents 41-11 over three games while hitting over .350 as a team with a sub-4.00 team ERA.

Florida had to fight through a losers bracket to win the Gainesville regional. The Gators lost their second game of the regional to Texas Tech but won three games over two days–including two against the Red Raiders–by a combined score of 21-3.

The Gators enter the weekend at No. 3 in the RPI. The Gamecocks come in at No. 6 after regional victories.

South Carolina swept Florida at Founders Park this season, the team’s last series win in league play before sputtering the season’s final month.

The Gamecocks won the first game 13-3 in seven innings and the second game 5-2. They then jumped out to a big lead early and held on to win 7-5 on Sunday afternoon.

South Carolina went 7-8 on the road this season in the SEC while Florida was 12-3 at home with no series losses.

The Gamecocks have not announced a starting rotation as of yet.
