Texas A&M opens as small betting favorite over South Carolina
Texas A&M enters the week on a seven-game win streak and undefeated in SEC play but Vegas still appears to have plenty of respect for South Carolina as the two teams get ready to face off this week.
The Aggies are an early 4.5-point favorite as of Sunday afternoon, according to VegasInsider’s consensus listing, for this weekend’s matchup at Williams-Brice Stadium. The early over/under is set at 46.5 points.

The Gamecocks (4-3, 2-3 SEC) are coming off their second bye week of the season. South Carolina has wins over Old Dominion, Kentucky, Akron, and Oklahoma this season, along with losses to LSU, Ole Miss, and Alabama, all Top 15 teams.
The Aggies (7-1, 5-0 SEC) are coming off a 38-23 come-from-behind victory over LSU in College Station, Texas. After losing its opener to Notre Dame, Texas A&M has reeled off wins over McNeese, Florida, Bowling Green, Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi State, and then LSU on Saturday under first-year head coach Mike Elko.

South Carolina and Texas A&M are set for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on Nov. 2 at Williams-Brice Stadium with ABC carrying the action.

South Carolina reveals Phase 1 of Williams-Brice Stadium modernization plan
The University of South Carolina revealed the early stages of Phase 1 of its plan to modernize Williams-Brice Stadium during a Board of Trustees meeting Friday afternoon.
The board approved a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to retain an architecture firm to design the initial phase of new enhancements to the stadium.
“Today is a significant day for our institution and I hope it is the beginning of many big milestones ahead as we realize this incredibly transformative vision for Athletics and our football program that will have an impact on all areas of our university and the region,” said Chair of the Board of Trustees Thad H. Westbrook.
