Sellers is widely expected to earn the starting quarterback position at South Carolina this season, with Shane Beamer previously telling GamecockCentral.com that the sophomore will take the first snap of spring football.
As a true freshman, he saw action in five games, going 4/4 passing for 86 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown on 5 carries.
A former four-star prospect, Sellers was a production machine during his time at South Florence High School, leading the Bruins to a 4A state title during his senior season. During that campaign, he threw for just shy of 2,500 yards with 45 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions. He also rushed for 1,338 yards and an additional 17 scores.
Harbor was rated by the On3 Industry Ranking as the nation’s number-one athlete in the 2023 class out of Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll.
