Tracker: Who's out for South Carolina in the Gator Bowl
For the first time in a month, it’s officially game week for South Carolina.
But there’s been some changes to the Gamecocks’ roster in those past 30 days. The following players have either declared for the NFL Draft or have entered the transfer portal:

DB Cam Smith — NFL Draft
DB Devonni Reed — NFL Draft
DB Darius Rush — NFL Draft
DT Zacch Pickens — NFL Draft
OL Dylan Wonnum — NFL Draft
RB MarShawn Lloyd — Transfer Portal
TE Jaheim Bell — Transfer Portal
TE Austin Stogner — Transfer Portal
WR Corey Rucker — Transfer Portal
EDGE Gilber Edmond — Transfer Portal
OT Jordan Davis — Transfer Portal
DB Joey Hunter — Transfer Portal
Of those 12 players, nine were either starters or saw a good amount of playing time throughout the course of the season.
In addition to those players, the following have either been ruled out:
RB Lovasea Carroll — Injured
WR Josh Vann — Injured
• Win a football autographed by Rattler, Emmanwori, Kroeger, and others
“Vann is not here right now, he won’t play this week,” Beamer told reporters on Monday.
The unfortunate news though shouldn’t come as a surprise. Vann is still recovering from a knee injury that he suffered against Clemson Nov. 26. That play, his last as a Gamecock, resulted in a 34-yard reception on a third down

In addition, Beamer listed WR Jalen Brooks as “doubtful” to play in the Gator Bowl. Last week Beamer said Brooks has been dealing with an “off-the-field issue.”
South Carolina will return to the practice field at Ponte Vedra High School at 10:25 a.m. on Tuesday.
While USC opted to arrive in Jacksonville, FL on Sunday night, Notre Dame chose to arrive on Monday. Friday’s Gator Bowl will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN.
