Transfer OL sets official visit to South Carolina

Nolan Hay, a transfer from Incarnate Word, is set to take an official visit to South Carolina the weekend of May 1, he said on social media on Thursday night.
The trip to Columbia is one of three official visits that Hay has scheduled at this time. Washington State is slated to get one on May 2, and he will be at Colorado on May 3.

The 6-foot-4, 310-pounder was a first-team all-conference selection this season according to Phil Steele. He’s played in 31 games during his career at Incarnate Word.
During the 2024 season, Hay played right tackle and turned in an 80.6 pass blocking grade, according to PFF.

A native of Texas, Hay played his high school football at Taylor High in Katy.
South Carolina appears to be looking for some additional depth through the transfer portal to bolster competition up front.
Two Gamecocks from that room have entered the transfer portal during the spring window in redshirt freshman Kam Pringle and seventh-year senior Jakai Moore.
