What Paul Mainieri said after South Carolina's sweep of Sacred Heart on Sunday

Following an 8-0 win over Sacred Heart on Sunday, South Carolina head coach Paul Mainieri spoke to the media after the game. Below is a summary of what he had to say.
— Great to finish off a sweep on Opening Weekend. A lot of great things. The pitching was most outstanding. What Jake McCoy did today was outstanding. Would’ve liked to see him go nine innings of no-hit ball. He continues to grow into a mature competitor. The pitching staff was fantastic all weekend.
— Worried Nathan Hall might not play today after being hit by a pitch yesterday. But glad he did with how he performed.
— Took advantage of opportunities but doesn’t like to seem them walk so much. It takes the aggressiveness away from the hitters. Going to need to hit better than they did today. They had a lot of pitches that they took for strikes. But Blake Jackson gave them a spark late in the game with his RBI double. But overall, wasn’t super pleased with the bats today.

— Couldn’t have dreamt what he saw out of the starting pitching this weekend. But that’s how they pitched last weekend in scrimmages. Shouldn’t say he’s surprised. He’s seen the work that Terry Rooney has done and thinks the kids have done a great job of responding.
— Max Kaufer tweaked his back doing base running drills before the game yesterday. Thought Ryan Bakes did a good job yesterday receiving. He was going to start Kaufer today before going with LeCroy for the third straight game. Thought he caught tremendously all weekend. Not really sure what he’ll do with the backup catcher situation yet. LeCroy is the leader of the team back there.
— Jarvis Evans Jr. should be starting on Tuesday at Winthrop. No update on Eli Jerzembeck.
