What SEC Nation analysts said about South Carolina-Missouri football game
SEC Nation takes a pre-game look at football across the conference each Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. The SEC Network show features Lauren Rutledge, Jordan Rodgers, Paul Finebaum, Roman Harper, and Tim Tebow. All five cast members received a degree from an SEC school.
For Week 12, the SEC Nation crew traveled to Athens, Georgia for a battle between the Bulldogs and Tennessee. The crew also took a look at the impending game between Missouri and South Carolina, which kicks off in Columbia, SC, at 4:15 p.m. ET.

Jordan Rodgers first expressed concern for Missouri’s offensive line, as starting center Connor Tollison was ruled out.
“This is not the game that you don’t want to have Brady Cook and don’t want to have your starting center,” Rodgers said. “Because on the other side, you have Kyle Kennard, you have Dylan Stewart, you have Tonka Hemingway…this defensive line is so good.”

Rodgers said backup quarterback Drew Pyne did a solid job as backup last week for the Tigers. Starting quarterback Brady Cook is a game-time decision for Missouri, and he missed the last game against Oklahoma. The Tigers did win, however, 30-23, behind a stout defensive effort. Missouri sits just two spots below South Carolina in the latest College Football Playoff rankings, at No. 23.

Predictions
However, despite the ranked matchup, SEC Nation’s panel didn’t differ from each other when it came to the South Carolina-Missouri game. Finebaum, Harper, and Tebow all went with the Gamecocks Saturday afternoon. The fan vote also tilted in favor of the Gamecocks, with 85% of votes for South Carolina. Entering Saturday afternoon, South Carolina was -11.5 point favorites, per ESPN.
