— Came out of last night pretty good with injuries. Vandrevius Jacobs is the only one he’d be concerned about. Tight ends it’s more of a we’ll see.

— Thought they played physical and hard, they just have to be better. Has a ton of respect for Clemson. It’s exciting to be a part of this rivalry.

— Luke Doty played more yesterday with their top three tight ends being down. They needed to expand their personnel groupings because of their tight end situation. Really proud of Luke. He’s a model student-athlete. He’s smart as heck and knows everything.

— They were approached about playing the Palmetto Bowl on Black Friday. They ended up deciding to play on Saturday. They’ll worry about the future later on. There’s pro and cons to playing on both days. Only worried about the game on Saturday.

— They’ll talk more about the rivalry in the team meeting later tonight. They usually wait on Tuesday to do that. But wanted to make sure they control the message before then and talk about it sooner. It’s an important rivalry. It doesn’t take long for the new guys to realize how important this rivalry is.

— They certainly dug themselves a hole when they went to Clemson two years ago. They fell behind early. They didn’t play great but hung in there. That’s one thing you learn from making that trip. You’ve got to play well and hang in there and be tough. That game up there two years ago was back and forth two years ago. It’ll take a total team effort to win. After that, you just have to handle the emotions of a rivalry game on the road.

— Watched some of the noon games before going to the stadium yesterday. Running off the field from pregame warmups, a fan yelled out to give an update on the Ole Miss loss. When he got home, he sat around with his family and watched four different games going on last night. Usually he goes to bed after the night game is over but stayed up til 2 in the morning watching the USC-UCLA. Knew some things went their way yesterday. But the only thing they can control is having a great week of practice and winning the game on Saturday.

— LaNorris Sellers and his abilities in the run game speak for itself. It needs to be a weapon along with the running back as well this weekend. Cade Klubnik is a great athlete as well. Need to do a good job of handling his athleticism. It’ll absolutely be a key this weekend. There’s going to be some messy pockets. They’re excited about Rocket Sanders, the guys around him and the QB element as well.

— Sellers is getting more and more comfortable with what they’re doing on offense. They do a lot of the same concepts over and over. He’s got more of familiarity with the offense now. Dowell Loggains and Mike Shula have done great job of coaching him up with here’s the play and here’s the read. He’s just gotten more decisive on understanding what the defense is doing and where the ball is supposed to go.

— Has been really proud of how Dylan Stewart has handled everything off the field. He comes in with all this hype. He works really hard and keeps his mouth shut. Just sees him continue to grow and mature. There were times last night where he was flat out tackled by the offensive linemen from Wofford. He just works hard and keeps playing. Proud of him and his development. Great young man.
