Despite losing to Mississippi State Thursday in the SEC Tournament, South Carolina’s season is still hanging onto a thread. The Gamecocks (18-13) will learn their postseason faith on Sunday.
Finishing (9-9) in conference play, good enough for tying in fifth in the SEC, the NCAA Tournament appears to be out of the question. But the NIT is still on the table.
