South Carolina still has one more game to focus on before it’s officially Clemson Week but that doesn’t stop Vegas from going ahead and releasing lines for the latest iteration of the Palmetto State rivalry.

As of Friday afternoon, Draft Kings has the Tigers as an early favorite though it sets the line at just Clemson -3.5 points.

FanDuel has it even smaller with the Tigers favored by 2.5 points. The site sets the over/under at 48.5 points.

Most major books put out their odds on Sundays for the next weekend’s games after taking in the data from the action on the night before. But big games sometimes have earlier betting lines and it’s not likely this Saturday’s game for either team will sway the number too much one way or the other.

South Carolina will of course take on Wofford this week while Clemson takes on The Citadel before the two programs face each other in Clemson next week.

South Carolina (7-3, 5-3 SEC) has reeled off four straight wins and will look to make it five with a home win over the Terriers before taking on the Tigers.

The Gamecocks have wins over Old Dominion, Kentucky, Akron, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, and Missouri this season to go along with losses to LSU, Ole Miss, and Alabama.

Both South Carolina and Clemson are currently ranked in the College Football Playoff Top 25 with the Tigers checking in at No. 17 and the Gamecocks at 18, meaning the winner will surely finish above the other in those rankings.

The Gamecocks and Tigers are set for a noon kickoff next Saturday in Memorial Stadium.
