Where South Carolina's commits are ranked in the 'Industry Ranking' after latest updates

On3 made one of the most extensive updates of the recruiting cycle to its 2026 rankings last week after the staff put the 2025 class to bed and turned its attention in earnest to the next batch of rankings.
With the updates to the On300 and changes in the rankings from the other major recruiting media sites, that also created massive changes to the On3 Industry Ranking.

For football, the algorithm is weighted as follows: On3 (35%), 247Sports (35%), Rivals.com (20%) and ESPN (10%).

The On3 Industry Rating and Ranking increases the total number of five-stars and four-stars seven times throughout the recruiting cycle, concluding with 32 five-stars for football.
This solves for the problem of awarding 5-star ratings too early in the recruiting process to meet predefined quotas. With each passing month in the cycle, scouts in the industry have more data, information and scouting opportunities to evaluate better and project prospects.
South Carolina’s 2026 class, which features five prospects, is currently ranked No. 19 in On3’s Team Recruiting Rankings, which are powered by the IR.
Below is a look at where each Gamecock commit is ranked in the IR.
