Wisconsin specialist commits to South Carolina
South Carolina special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis has landed a key piece for the future in the 2025 class.
Hartland (Wisconsin) Arrowhead long snapper Kyler Farrow announced on Saturday morning that he was making his pledge to the Gamecocks.
The verbal commitment comes just two days after Farrow revealed that he had been offered a scholarship by Shane Beamer’s program.

The 6-foot-3, 220-pounder is rated by Kohl’s Kicking as a five-star snapper, checking in at number four in the country.
“Farrow has solidified himself as one of the most explosive and talented snappers in America. At the Kohl’s Midwest Showcase, he was ripping the ball through the target with clean rotation,” Kohl’s said in a scouting report. “He finished the day with an average snap time of .67 seconds and tied for the 5th highest charting score in the country for the 2025 class.

Air Force and Wisconsin were two other programs that were pursuing Farrow.
“Farrow is tall and very athletic which he uses well in his snapping motion,” Kohl’s says. “He has worked extremely hard to develop himself into one of the best and it shows on every snap. Farrow has what it takes to play and be an asset for any program in the country.”
South Carolina will lose veteran All-SEC snapper Hunter Rogers following the 2024 season, so Farrow will compete to be his replacement.
Shane Beamer and DeCamillis have dedicated another scholarship in the 2025 class to a specialist, having landed a commitment from Tennessee kicker Max Kelley.
