Zeb Noland NFT launches detailing his unique journey
Former South Carolina quarterback and current Gamecock football graduate assistant Zeb Noland has officially launched his NFT collection as digital sports media company SportsCast.net’s premiere release.
For those unfamiliar with NFTs or “non-fungible tokens” — which have exploded in popularity in recent years — Forbes described NFTs as a “digital asset that represents real-world objects like art, music, in-game items and videos.”
Unlike traditional digital photos or files, which can be copied and transferred an infinite number of times, NFTs are minted on the blockchain with special identifying coding, meaning each is one of a kind or part of a limited run.
Increasingly, NFTs also come packaged with more tangible items, and in the case of Noland’s collection, it comes with exclusive video interviews.
Additionally, when a fan purchases an NFT, it’s a way for them financially support those involved.
“It’s a way to invest in my story, in a way,” Noland told Gamecock Central earlier this year in an exclusive Garnet Trust interview presented by 360clean. “So what’s going to happen, is it will be a five-part series, it will be like a deep dive into my life. So it’s actually one of my dad’s best friends that does the interview, who went to college together and now he’s the voice of TCU and called our bowl game. But it’s a deep dive into my high school (career), my dad’s relationship, me and him, and then a deep dive into Iowa State, a deep dive into North Dakota State, and my relationship with Trey Lance, and then leading up to the first game before the EIU game and the week after.

“So it’s a big deep dive into that. This company is (run) by someone that is dear to me and my family. So it’s one of a kind. There’s a lot of NFL guys and former NFL players, NBA, that are really, really interested in our platform. It’s got a custom painting and drawing along with the videos, so it’s on the blockchain, it’s one of it’s kind, so we’re really, really excited to have it come out. And would love for you guys to invest and learn more about it.”
The five-part series follows Noland’s journey from high school to his three college stops including at South Carolina where he started several games last season, including wins over Eastern Illinois and East Carolina.
