IMG offensive lineman Breck Kolojay was back in Knoxville last weekend to catch the Vols in action against Alabama. After the game, he visited with Volquest about another trip to Tennessee.
“Oh my gosh, it was unreal,” Kolojay said about his experience at Neyland Stadium. “Unreal game. It was my mom’s first game here and it was a special game. Tennessee fought adversity. It was a slow first half. In the second half, they just got better and dominated.”
And having his mom here made it all the more unique for Kolojay.
“She had an amazing time,” Kolojay said. “She went down on the field after and I’m glad she could witness this for herself.”
After struggling to run the ball in the first half the last couple of games, the Tennessee running game has been so strong after the break. Kolojay saw that firsthand,
“The O-Line really persevered,” Kolojay said. “Alabama has a great defense and great linebackers and you know the O-Line dominated in the second half. They had a couple of explosive runs from Dylan Sampson so that was pretty cool to watch.”
Kolojay loves watching offensive line play. He is constantly watching certain things.
“I just watch the operation and how the offensive line communicates,” Kolojay said. “They did that pretty well. That’s just one of the things I keep an eye on for. I also watch how the coaches talk to them on the sideline and do mid game adjustments.”

He has been on lots of visits and in particular several to Knoxville. Seeing that type of atmosphere is certainly something that keeps Tennessee firmly in the mix for the Colorado native.
“They are solidified deep in my recruitment,” Kolojay said. “They are one of the schools playing a big role right now in terms of dropping my top 5 and top 12 and they are in that top 5 area.”
Kolojay has been to Knoxville four times and plans to come back after the season during the winter months.
Tennessee has one offensive lineman committed for 2026 as Brandon Anderson committed last week following the Alabama game.
