5-star, top 2026 TE Kendre Harrison sets visit to Tennessee
2026 Reidsville High School (N.C.) standout Tight End Kendre Harrison is set to return to Tennessee later this month. Harrison confirmed to Volquest he will visit Knoxville on October 19th when they play to Alabama.
The five-star prospect has been a frequent visitor to Rocky Top over the last two years and was most recently on campus in April.
“I definitely enjoyed seeing what they did with the tight ends and how they space them out and get them open,” Harrison said at the time. “Getting to talk with Coach Heupel and Coach Abeln. It was Coach Abeln’s birthday, so getting to come over here and talk to him. Getting to spend the day at Tennessee was a great experience.”
“My relationship with him is good,” Harrison has previously said of Abeln. “When we do get on the phone, and I do get up to Tennessee, it has been like we talk everyday. The connection is really good between me and when. When I talk to him, he shows me the stats of the tight ends, and what they do, and what I can do.”

The elite talent is a frequent visitor to Knoxville, as he has friends in the area and also plays AAU basketball with a Knoxville-area team. He holds the city in high regard.
“I love how beautiful Knoxville is,” Harrison told Volquest earlier in the year. “I have a friend, Cade Murphy, him and his mom show us around, and show us everything about Knoxville. Going from the park to the street signs, they just show us everything. I play with an AAU team out of Knoxville, so it is like I am always there. I know I am going to have fun. I have been to Tennessee so many times, it feels like a second home. Knoxville is a place I already love.”
Harrison is currently the top-ranked tight end in the Industry rankings and On3 ranks him as the No.11 overall prospect in the 2026 class.
Kendre Harrison’s On3 Scouting Report
Freakish two-sport athlete who is one of the most physically imposing prospects in the nation, regardless of class. A true ‘first off the bus’ type. Listed at 6-foot-7, 230 pounds. Plays both tight end and defensive end for his high school team. Moves like a much smaller player. Runs well and shows the ability to separate from linebackers. Has considerable mismatch ability as a pass catcher. Does not lumber unlike many players of his size. Also flashes intriguing upside as a pass rusher on defense. Doubles as a national basketball prospect with high major offers. Averaged over 21 points and 15 rebounds per game as a high school freshman on the hardwood. Has genuine positional ambiguity at this stage in his evaluation, but owns one of the higher physical upsides in the 2026 cycle early on.
