Commits by position group

Tennessee’s quarterback commitment in the 2024 class, Jake Merklinger, dropped four spots in this ranking update. He fell from 196 to 200. Through four games, Merklinger has completed 44 passes for 858 yards and 12 touchdowns to no interceptions.
Running Back
Salem (Va.) running back commitment Peyton Lewis continues to climb the rankings in this cycle after committing to the Vols. He climbed from 216 to 155 in this update.
Wide Receiver
Tennessee’s two wide receiver commitments, Mike Matthews and Braylon Staley, have both gotten off to a strong start in their senior campaigns. Both are ranked inside the top 100 in this rankings update. Staley moved up from 101st overall to 97th overall. Matthews fell four spots to 36th overall.
Tight End
Tennessee tight end commitment Jonathan Echols fell down the rankings in this update. He dropped from 173nd overall to 202nd overall.
Offensive Line
