Arizona transfer Isaiah Johnson details Tennessee visit

Arizona defensive line transfer Isaiah Johnson was on Rocky Top on Friday to see what Tennessee has to offer. After the visit, Volquest caught up with him to see what he found in Knoxville.
“I enjoyed walking around seeing the campus and the facility, and talking to the coaches, getting to learn the scheme and all the hospitality,” Johnson said. “I learned that Tennessee is a hard-working program revolved around building the players up to play big-time football.”
He was able to spend time with defensive line coach Rodney Garner and see how he would fit into the defensive line room.
“He just went over the scheme, went over how he develops his players and coaches his guys hard from top to bottom,” Johnson said.
He also got one on one time with head coach Josh Heupel. The conversation was laid-back and he enjoyed it very much.
