A full slate of conference games headline the SEC going into week five in the Ball with The Beast podcast presented by Wyatt Insurance.

Kentucky and Florida will go to battle in Lexington as the Wildcats look to close out the first month of the season the way it began and that’s with a win.

“I think this is a real test of both teams,” Paul Fortenberry said. “I don’t want to discount the Tennessee win but maybe the history inside of me with the Tennessee and Florida rivalry has not always been the best barometer for what Florida’s season is going to look like.

“It’s a noon game at Kentucky and Florida floated through last week.”

Out west, it’s a battle in Texas as Arkansas looks to avoid a three game losing streak when they play Texas A&M without starting quarterback Connor Weigman.

“They have performed relatively well in this matchup in Dallas over the last few years,” Fortenberry said. “At the same time the loss to BYU and the loss last week, who is this Arkansas team? Can KJ Jefferson make the big plays? That’s my big question for him. He is a big dude and can run the ball but can he go out and throw for 300 yards to beat Texas A&M?”

Tennessee looks to pick up their first conference win on the season and will need to do so with good defensive line play.

As for the matchup, Fortenberry is taking the home team to end the month on a positive note.

“I’d say around 30-21,” Fortenberry said. “I just don’t trust Spencer Rattler. He has had his moments and was great against the Vols and carried that over against Clemson.”
