Box Score: Totals from Tennessee's 116-90 win over Lithuania U21 national team

Tennessee basketball again had a balanced attack on Saturday in Italy, beating the Lithuania U21 national team 116-90 after seven Vols scored in double-figures. Tennessee won 97-57 on Friday with six players in double-figures.

On Saturday it was Dalton Knecht and Santiago Vescovi scoring 19 points each to lead the way for the Vols, who were playing in their second of three exhibitions during their 10-day tour through Italy. Jonas Aidoo and Tobe Awaka scored 16 points each and Aidoo added 11 rebounds for the double-double. Awaka had nine boards.

Jordan Gainey scored 13 points for a second straight day and Josiah-Jordan James had 10 points. Freddie Dilione V had a double-double of his own with 10 points and 10 assists.

Jahmai Mashack had seven points and four assists, DJ Jefferson scored six points and JP Estrella grabbed three rebounds.

Tennessee as a team finished 40-for-82 from the field, shooting 48.8 percent. The Vols were 16-for-37 from the 3-point line, finishing at 43.2 percent, and went 20-for-21 at the free-throw line. Five players had two or more made 3-pointers: Vescovi (5-7), Knecht (4-7), Gainey (2-5), Jefferson (2-6) and James (2-6).

Aidoo’s 11 rebounds were a team-high while Awaka’s nine gave him 23 total over the two games against the Lithuanian team. Knecht’s 19 points in just under 18 minutes included a stretch of 11 straight points in the second half.

Lithuania got a combined 45 points from Nojus Kuliesa and Paulius Velutis, as the duo went 10-for-18 from the 3-point line. Kuliesa had 25 and went 7-for-13 from the 3-point line. Velutis scored 20, going 3-for-5 from three.

Lithuania shot 44.4 percent from the field (28-63) and 35.7 percent from three (10-28).

After spending the week in Milan, Lake Como and Florence, Tennessee will train to Rome and face A.S. Stella Azzurra, an Italian professional club, Monday at the A.S. Stella Azzurra Basketball Academy. The Vols will travel home Wednesday.
