Craven Wings Two-Minute Drill: Challenge for Vols is to stay consistent in prep
Tennessee is coming off one of the best wins in program history – specifically one of the best of the past 15 years. Chase McGrath’s 40-yard field goal as time expired propelled the Volunteers over the Crimson Tide and up to No. 3 in the latest AP College Football Poll.
More importantly, Tennessee remains undefeated midway through the regular-season and control its own destiny the rest of the way.
Following the win over Alabama, Tennessee’s McGrath was tabbed as the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week for his game-winning field goal. Darnell Wright was named the Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week from the conference after making Will Anderson Jr. and Dallas Turner non-factors in the pass-rush game. And of course you knew Jalin Hyatt was going to be the Offensive Player of the Week after his five touchdown performance against Alabama.
