2025 Brentwood Academy (Tenn.) standout quarterback George MacIntyre made his way back to Tennessee on Saturday to spend more time with the Vols’ staff.
The state’s top prospect for the 2025 class, according to the On3 Rankings, will also workout out on Sunday at Tennessee’s on-campus camp.
MacIntyre is a priority target for Tennessee at the quarterback position in the 2025 class, and he likes what he has seen from Josh Heupel in his first two years on the job.
“Coach Heupel, I feel like he has brought the swagger back to Tennessee for sure,” MacIntyre told Volquest last month. “I think they have recruited well. It has been impressive to see what he has done in a short amount of time.”
The 6-5.5, 185 pound quarterback is currently rated as the nation’s 12th overall prospect and second-best quarterback in the 2025 class, according to the On3 industry rankings. MacIntyre is rated as the top player in the state as well.

MacIntyre is not letting the offers and star ratings impact how he approaches his recruitment. He continues to take the process in stride to ensure he makes the best decision possible.
While remaining humble in the process, MacIntyre is confident in his ability on the field.
“I think they are getting a leader,”MacInytre told Volquest of what the school of his choosing will get in him. “Someone who can go win the game if we are down seven with forty seconds left.”
MacIntrye is also set to return to Knoxville later this month to throw at Tennessee’s second Night at Neyland camp.
