Elite 2027 CB Joshua Dobson set to visit Tennessee
Catawba Ridge (S.C.) standout cornerback Joshua Dobson is already one viewed as one of the elite prospects in the 2027 recruiting class. This weekend, he will make the trip from South Carolina to Rocky Top to check out the Vols when they take on Alabama.
Dobson is excited to get to experience the game day atmosphere on Rocky Top this weekend, as well as re-connecting with Willie Martinez and the Tennessee coaching staff.
“I am excited to experience the Volunteers atmosphere in the newly renovated stadium that everyone has been talking about,” Dobson told Volquest. “Also being able to see coach Nez and Coach ET again and to see the hard work from the team.”
Dobson was most recently on Tennessee’s campus in June when he picked up an offer from the Vols after a camp session.
The four-star is rated as the No.50 overall prospect in the On3 Rankings for the 2027 class. He is also rated as the the No.5 cornerback and the top prospect from the state of South Carolina.
